I am a person who loves learning, and know that what I learn can be used to serve immigrants and refugees. For example, I love reading about people who have served humanity nobly, such as Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Gandhi, and others. I also enjoy the social sciences, especially psychology and sociology; material that focuses on different cultural processes that create diversity in knowledge and practice. I sometimes read books like the Twilight saga and watch movies that my teen niece and nephew watch, for fun and to understand their culture.
