Hello, my name is Zoe Russell. I am a summer student at The Lighthouse and I am very excited to get to know so many new people here in the months to come!
I am at the beginning of my studies at Redeemer University. Majoring in Sociology and minoring in Psychology, I am furthering my interest in exploring the diversities that make up all of God’s people. Through the ministries of The Lighthouse, the staff, volunteers, and clients are able to break down the social barriers that sometimes separate class and culture to be a community together.
My fellow student Misa and I will be helping with the various camps for kids that The Lighthouse runs in the summer time. We will have lots of exciting activities planned and I hope the kids will teach me as much as I can teach them during this whole process.
I am very thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of The Lighthouse family this summer, sharing my faith in Christ with all my neighbours.
