On Wednesday June 26, Mr. Dirk Jongkind passed away at age 99, at the Faith Manor Nursing home. Mr. Jongkind was very active in shaping where The Lighthouse is today. He was a board member and a volunteer staff person of The Lighthouse. He also reached out beyond its borders with activities, such as welcoming Vietnamese boat people.
