The The Hispanic ministry hosted 5 Christmas celebrations. Throughout The Lighthouse, you could smell the delicious aroma of home cooked foods, see the smiles of clients and volunteers, and hear the laughs of everyone enjoying the Christmas festivities. Feliz Navidad!
This year, The Lighthouse’s Chinese Christmas Celebration shared the Good New of Jesus Christ with 119 people at Calvary Logos Baptist Church in Scarborough. There was drums and dance, a song presentation by the choir and a moving gospel message. It was a festive evening of full of food, sharing and fellowship for all.
It’s looking a lot like Christmas at The Lighthouse. We served 4 turkeys, 20 lbs of potatoes, loads of roasted vegetables, and tonnes of gravy and stuffing to feed 82 hungry tummies. A big thank you to everyone who helped and came out to make the lunch a huge success!
